There have been two recent Chess tournaments, the City Speed Chess Championship and the State Championship. The CAHS chess team has managed to win both, including recording the 11th straight state chess championship for the school. Brandon Barcus finished 1st overall in speed chess individually as well. Congratulations for another outstanding victory for CAHS chess team.
