Kroger is changing how it donates to our school’s PTA and as you know the money that the PTA earns goes to buying needed supplies, equipment, etc for our school. Here’s how you can help -
Kroger has restructured its Community Rewards Program to make it even easier to earn money for Friends of Columbus Alternative High School PTA.  Beginning May 1, if you are a Kroger shopper, you need only scan your registered “Kroger Plus Card” when you make a purchase and Kroger will donate a percentage of your purchase to our school – you pay nothing extra!  Simply register your card and designate Friends of Cols. Alternative High School PTA as your Community Organization by following the instructions below. If your card is already registered online, it will take you approximately 1 minute to add Friends of CAHS PTA as your organization.  If you are not currently registered, the process takes approximately 5 – 10 minutes.

TO USE THE KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM:
•    Register online at  www.krogercommunityrewards.com
•    Be sure to have your Kroger Plus card handy to register your card with our organization after you sign up.
•    If you do not yet have a Kroger Plus card, they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger.
•   Click on Sign In/Register
•   If you are a new online customer, click on SIGN UP TODAY in the ‘New Customer?’ box.
•   Sign up for a Kroger Rewards Account by entering your zip code, clicking on your favorite store, entering your email address, creating a password and agreeing to the terms and conditions.
•   You will then be instructed to check your email inbox and click the link within the body of the email to confirm your registration and continue.
•   Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.
•   Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information on the right side of the page and input your Kroger Plus card number.
•   Update or confirm your information to go to the next step.
•   Enter the number 81923 or FRIENDS OF COLS. ALTERNATIVE HIGH SCHOOL PTA and select our organization from the list and click confirm.
•   To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see FRIENDS OF COLS. ALTERNATIVE HIGH SCHOOL PTA on the right side of your information page.
•   REMEMBER, purchases will not count for our group until after you register your card.
•   If you use your phone number at the register and do not know your Kroger Plus number, call 877-576-7587 to get your Kroger Plus card number and register your card.
•   Members must swipe their registered Kroger Plus card or use the phone number that is related to their registered Kroger Plus card when shopping in order for each purchase to count.  Alcohol, tobacco, gift cards and fuel purchases do not count toward the Community Rewards Program.
If you are currently using a rechargeable gift card balances will not be effected by the new program.  You can recharge your gift card until April 30.  Please register your plus card and continue to use your gift card until it has a zero balance.  Purchases made with your gift card after May 1 will count towards our program if your plus card is registered and scanned. If you have any questions, please email us at cahs.pta@gmail.com
