Nick Kotz won a Silver Medal for CAHS in the 2008-2009 Ohio High School Fencing Championships in Sabre this month. This is his second medal for CAHS, last year Nick won the Bronze Medal. CAHS student Ben Leach also won the City Championship in wresting (he wrestles for Whetstone).
The Mock Trial team also finished up the district competition, with Leslie Krivo-Kaufman winning Best Attorney (again!) and Zach O’Keffee winning Best Witness.
We congratulate all our CAHS competitors for their achievements and effort.
CAHS Mock Trial group will be competing in the regional competition for the first time on Feb 20th. At the district level competition, Kimron Flicker and Leslie Krivo-Kaufman each won outstanding attorney. Justin Sherman won outstanding witness. Congrats to the Mock Trial Team, and their advisor Dr. Murray, for their achievements.

CAHS Academic Team won their third straight city title this school year. They continue CAHS tradition of success in the Academic League. They were the topic of a recent news article here. We at CAHS are proud to have our students consistently recognized for their academic achievements. Congrats to all those involved.
School officially resumes after Spring Break. Make sure all work is complete and you are ready for the final stretch.
There will be no school Monday the 16th of Feb. for President’s Day. Recharge on your day off to work through this stretch until Spring Break in April.
