Columbus City Schools has provided for a Parent Consultant position at all high schools, starting the 2004-2005 school year. The Parent Consultant (PC) is the parent of a current student and works part-time for the school, with a focus on increasing the parent/school connection. Diane Maxwell is currently serving as the PC of CAHS.
If you have any questions or concerns and you are uncertain who to contact, or prefer to deal with a parent, please feel free to send a message to Diane. Her email address should be available through the office, and she will check her messages regularly.
CAHS intends to gather as many parent e-mail addresses as possible, which Diane will use to share school information. Our goal is to help more parents have a better understanding of the daily world of CAHS and to feel comfortable asking questions or sharing concerns.
